Job Description

Under close supervision with detailed instructions and frequent review, the PCBA Technician will install, repair, and replace through-hole and surface mount technology (SMT) packages. These include components such as Quad Flat Package (QFP), Ball Grid Array (BGA), chip components, small-outline integrated circuit (SOIC), axial, and radial components. The technician will perform soldering operations in accordance with J-STD-001 and IPC-610 standards and maintain various Printed Circuit Board Assembly equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and replace SMT packages including QFP, BGA, chip components, SOIC, axial, and radial components.
• Perform solder operations according to J-STD-001 and IPC-610 standards.
• Maintain and operate equipment including Surface Mount lines, Robotic Soldering, X-Ray, Automated Optical Inspection, and Conformal Coating Applications.
• Observe all laws, regulations, and obligations applicable to business conduct.
• Work safely in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
• Help maintain an orderly work area by returning tools, equipment, and materials to storage.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in electrical, engineering, electronics, and troubleshooting.
• Mechanical skills and ability to read schematics.
• Experience using oscilloscopes, hand tools, wiring, test equipment, and soldering.
• Installation, production, PCB, and calibration experience.
• Experience with electrical wiring and troubleshooting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with electrical or electronic products.
• Experience in manufacturing environments.
• Ability to move material and stage for production.
• Capability to clean and prepare equipment for production use.
• Ability to assemble, disassemble, and fabricate various products.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shannon, MS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
