Welder

We are seeking a skilled Steel Fabricator to join our team. The role involves fabricating steel parts according to work orders, operating punch and shear presses, and fitting sheets of steel using various tools and equipment.

• Fabricate all steel parts according to work orders.
• Operate different punch press and shear presses as needed.
• Fit up sheets of steel using different jigs, clamps, jacks, and wedges.
• Weld components in various positions including overhead, horizontal, vertical, and flat.
• Use cranes to hoist materials safely.
• Grind welds and clean up the area at the end of the shift.
• Lift up to 70 pounds as needed.

• Proficiency in blueprint reading and use.
• Experience with MIG welding, TIG welding, and flux core welding.
• Mechanical skills and fabrication experience.
• Ability to work with heavy steel.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in heavy steel welding and fabrication.
• 2 years of experience in reading and using blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to navigate a computer.
• Physical ability to lift up to 70 pounds.

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $64400.00/yr.
