Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Warehouse Technician for our Supply Store. The ideal candidate will effectively manage material handling equipment, handle inbound and outbound shipments, and ensure the efficient movement and storage of materials within the warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate assigned material handling equipment and ensure all equipment in use has been inspected and is in safe operating condition.
- Report all accidents and unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
- Stock and arrange products to ensure efficient warehouse inventory turnover.
- Accurately determine material quantities through cycle counting.
- Receive material into inventory and move material between designated locations.
- Locate and pick material to/from warehouse locations as required.
- Ensure accurate entry of part numbers, quantities, and other data fields impacting electronic records of receipts, inventories, and locations.
- Resolve discrepancies with material quantities and part numbers.
- Ensure stable pallets and observe pallet heights, ensuring that material, racking, and equipment are not damaged and material is not left in aisles.
- Practice safe material handling techniques.
- Perform housekeeping tasks as assigned.
- Maintain flexibility to work overtime and weekends, as required.
- Proficiency in forklift operation.
- Experience in shipping and receiving.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations.
- Skills in picking, packing, loading, and unloading trucks.
- Experience with material handling equipment.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and barcode scanning.
- Ability to accurately handle inventory and resolve discrepancies.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Work Environment
The position operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and involves working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Asheville, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
