Ehs Coordinator

Description

Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or a related discipline is required.

Training: Must successfully complete RCRA and DOT certification within six months of hire for hazardous waste storage, disposal, and transportation compliance.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting and leading Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) programs in a relevant setting preferred.

Regulatory Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of OSHA regulations (required).
• Familiarity with EPA regulations (preferred).

Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent software

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burlington, NC.

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
