Job Description

Join a dynamic Retail Studio as an Intermediate Architectural Staff member. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in collaborative environments and are passionate about producing high-quality construction documents in a fast-paced setting. You’ll work closely with a supportive team, making an immediate impact while focusing on technical excellence and design execution—all from the flexibility of a fully remote setting.


Responsibilities

  • Produce complete sets of construction documents, including plans, elevations, sections, and details.
  • Apply building codes and technical detailing to ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate with consultants and internal teams for seamless project delivery.
  • Utilize Revit, AutoCAD, and other design tools effectively.
  • Support site planning, material selection, and cost estimating.
  • Participate in light project management and client interaction as needed.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Revit for producing detailed, code-compliant construction documents.
  • Strong understanding of building codes and technical detailing.
  • Ability to coordinate with consultants and internal teams.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with high-volume retail rollout projects (food & beverage preferred).
  • Ability to lead junior staff and contribute to team coordination.
  • Comfortable supporting client interactions.

Disqualifiers

  • No Revit experience.
  • Less than 3 years of architectural experience.
  • No experience producing construction documents.
  • Poor collaboration or communication skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
