Job Title: P6 Scheduler
Job Description
The Project Scheduler will assist the Master Scheduler in developing and implementing schedules to support company projects. This role involves performing program planning and scheduling tasks for the organization, supporting a diverse group of managers, engineers, and functional personnel in the development of program plans and schedules. Responsibilities
- Facilitate project planning by prioritizing tasks, setting deadlines, and managing deliverables.
- Analyze schedule information with the project teams and stakeholders weekly.
- Generate program plans and schedules from the earliest stages of program development through execution.
- Prepare and coordinate plans and schedules for new and/or existing projects.
- Analyze effects of projects on engineering, facilities, and construction, and determine efficient methods to solve conflicts.
- Develop solutions to complex problems and support the deployment of new techniques and tools.
Essential Skills
- Minimum 3 years of related experience in Primavera P6.
- Solid skills in analysis, reasoning, and good interpersonal, communication, and time management abilities.
- Experience creating schedules using Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling methodology, including baseline creation, maintenance, and analysis in Primavera.
- Computer proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to clearly convey information and ideas verbally to both employees and customers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Degreed individual preferred, but applicable experience with financial, project management disciplines and practices will be considered.
- Comfortable running project schedule update meetings live with a team.
- Self-starter and able to perform effectively independently.
- Good organizational skills and ability to effectively coordinate multiple activities.
- Ability to work well with others.
Work Environment
Preference for the individual to sit out of the Durham office, but flexible arrangements including remote or hybrid are considered. In-office, hybrid, and remote options are preferred in that order. Relocation to the Durham area may be considered for the right candidate. Opportunity to work for the leading Solar & Renewables EPC in the country.
