Security Technician

Job Description

We’re seeking a Security Systems Technician with strong experience in enterprise access control systems and IP-based CCTV. This role involves installing, servicing, and troubleshooting systems across a wide territory in eastern North Carolina. What You’ll Do

• Install and service access control systems (Software House, Lenel, Pro-Watch, etc.)
• Install and trim out IP-based CCTV cameras and related devices
• Read blueprints and layout jobs from start to finish, including cable pulling and device installation
• Troubleshoot and maintain card access systems across multiple platforms
• Travel to job sites across eastern NC (hotel and per diem provided for longer trips)

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience with enterprise security systems (installation & service)
• 1+ years of experience with IP camera systems
• Strong troubleshooting skills with Pro-Watch, Lenel, Software House
• Ability to read prints, pull cable, wire locks, and install panels
• Your own basic tools (hand tools, drill, etc.)

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with systems like Avigilon, Alta, S2, AMAG, DSX
• Experience cutting strikes and programming access control systems
