What You'll Do:
- Lead & Coordinate: Dive into the heart of dynamic project coordination, taking charge of field operations and ensuring that every detail aligns perfectly with industry excellence.
- Innovate & Document: Utilize your expertise with industry-standard software tools to streamline construction documentation, driving efficiency and clarity on every project.
- Empower Teams: Bring your hands-on experience from over 5 years in utility construction to mentor, guide, and inspire teams, ensuring each project is executed with precision and passion.
What We’re Looking For:
- A minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in utility construction—experience particularly in wet utilities and storm drain systems is essential.
- A detail-oriented mindset paired with an energetic approach to managing the complexities of project coordination and field operations.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software tools, ensuring that you can hit the ground running and keep projects on track, from conception to completion.

Responsibilities
- Assist in managing utility construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
- Coordinate and track RFIs, submittals, and other project documentation.
- Collaborate with field teams and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met.
- Utilize HeavyBid and HeavyJob for estimating and job cost tracking.
- Review and mark up plans using Bluebeam.
- Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Prepare and analyze reports using Microsoft Excel.
- Support compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients, engineers, and inspectors.
Essential Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in utility construction, with a focus on wet utilities and storm drain systems.
- Proficiency in HeavyBid, HeavyJob, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of RFI and submittal processes.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Work Environment
The role involves traveling to job sites from New Bern to Raleigh, with the flexibility to live anywhere within that territory. You will be home every night. The position offers opportunities to advance within a large company, alongside benefits such as a company truck, gas card, 401k, and eligibility for an annual bonus based on company performance. Additionally, the company observes a shutdown for Christmas.
