Job Title: Customer Service Representative


Job Description

The Customer Service Specialist is responsible for profitable, proactive aftermarket revenue generation through the Spare Part Sales business.


Responsibilities

  • Work with relevant departments, including Master Data, Finance, and Shipping, to support customer orders while keeping key metrics at top of mind.
  • Support spare part sales by providing quotations, communicating with customers regularly in accordance with initiatives and policies, and entering new spare part orders, prioritizing top customer orders.
  • Enter customer orders into the ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics, and process credit card payments as required.
  • Review current cost of parts with the Purchasing department to ensure current sell prices meet gross margin expectations.
  • File correspondence in the Electronic Filing System.
  • Perform any other duties that may reasonably be assigned.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in customer service, data entry, and customer support.
  • Experience with ERP systems, especially Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Strong skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems like C4C.
  • Understanding of invoicing, credit card processing, and gross margin awareness.
  • Ability to read 2D drawings and look up parts.

  • Detail-oriented, self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and work collaboratively as well as independently in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated accountability skills with customers, consistent follow through with customer requests and maintaining time commitments.
  • Comfort with a large product portfolio.
  • Willingness to learn and grow into more responsibility.
  • Plus: previous experience looking up item parts in system by scanning or typing into system in a retail setting. ex: AutoParts, AutoZone, O'Reilly, etc.
