Job Title: Aircraft Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a Aircraft Maintenance Technician with extensive experience in Raytheon and Cessna to join our growing MRO team. In this role, you will be pivotal in enhancing efficiencies, safety, and performance across various airframes. Additionally, you will mentor team members and foster a culture that prioritizes collaboration and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on turbine and turboprop aircraft.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and avionics discrepancies with technical expertise.
  • Ensure all maintenance complies with 14 CFR regulations and internal standards.
  • Input and manage data using maintenance tracking systems and scheduling software.
  • Document maintenance activities in compliance with FAA and internal requirements.
  • Coordinate with multiple teams to optimize aircraft readiness and turnaround time.
  • Uphold high-touch service standards while maintaining strict compliance and safety.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience with turbine and turboprop aircraft maintenance.
  • Substantial hands-on experience with Raytheon and Cessna Citation maintenance.
  • Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License.
  • Strong understanding of 14 CFR Part 145 regulations and aviation safety standards.
  • Proven ability to manage priorities in a high-urgency environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred.
  • Raytheon & Cessna/Citation factory training preferred.
  • Experience with maintenance tracking programs (e.g., Traxxall, Ebis, CAMP).
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.

Work Environment

Work Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday on a 4/10 schedule, or choose a weekend shift from Friday to Sunday. The environment requires a safety-first mindset, adaptability, and effective communication. You must have your own tools.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lexington, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $55.00/hr.
