Remote Healthcare Customer Service Representative

Start Date: October 2025

Contract Duration: 12 months

Pay Rate: $22/hour

Schedule: TBD (No time off allowed during training)

Work Setup: 100% Remote (equipment provided)

Position Overview

Join a mission-driven team supporting patients and healthcare providers through compassionate, high-quality service. As a Healthcare CSR, you’ll serve as the primary inbound support for Care Coordinators and Reimbursement Case Managers, helping patients navigate access to prescribed therapies and affordability programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide empathetic, high-volume phone support to patients and healthcare providers
  • Educate patients on program eligibility, enrollment, reimbursement, and affordability resources
  • Partner with prescribers to remove non-clinical barriers to therapy access
  • Maintain accurate records and follow SOPs, call guides, and program protocols
  • Escalate complex cases appropriately and communicate updates to Program Managers and Clients
  • Act as a liaison between patients, providers, and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with pharmacovigilance and data protection policies
  • Support program effectiveness through advocacy, education, and service facilitation

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years in healthcare customer service or high-volume call center
  • Strong understanding of medical and pharmacy insurance (Medicare, Medicaid, VA, DOD, commercial)
  • Experience with CRM software and Microsoft products
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to multitask, manage time, and maintain attention to detail
  • Empathetic listening and de-escalation skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendance
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
