What You’ll Do
As a Land Surveying Project Manager, you’ll oversee and guide survey operations from field data to final deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading survey data processing and mapping efforts
 - Performing quality control reviews of CAD technician work
 - Preparing boundary, topographic, As-Built, and ALTA maps
 - Conducting computations for construction layout
 - Communicating daily with field crews to ensure project alignment
 - Supporting field-to-finish workflows using the latest technology
 
What You Bring
- 10+ years of land surveying experience, including 1+ year in a project management role
 - 5+ years of CAD experience (Carlson software preferred)
 - Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills
 - Proven ability to manage survey projects from start to finish
 - Familiarity with total stations, GPS, and robotic total stations
 
Bonus Skills
- Experience with stormwater design, grading, and erosion control
 - Knowledge of stormwater management systems
 - PLS or SIT
 - Experience in construction stakeout and topographic surveys
 
Work Environment
Located in the North Hills area of Raleigh, the office offers easy access and a calm setting away from heavy traffic. Employees typically work 3–4 days in-office, with the flexibility to work remotely 1–2 days per week. The team is equipped with state-of-the-art tools including GPS, robotic total stations, Survey Pro software, and the latest CAD platforms—ensuring a seamless field-to-finish experience.
