About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Provider Services Representative to join our remote team. In this role, you will serve as a vital liaison between internal departments and external customers, ensuring prompt and professional responses to Department of Health audit calls and other provider inquiries. Your ability to communicate clearly, manage multiple systems, and maintain high standards of accuracy will directly contribute to our mission of enhancing healthcare delivery.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to the Department of Health audit calls consistently and professionally.
  • Act as a liaison between internal teams and external providers.
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls with accuracy, clarity, and courtesy.
  • Avoid call handling issues such as short calls, inappropriate transfers, or misuse of hold functions.
  • Perform accurate and timely data entry for all customer interactions.
  • Navigate multiple databases simultaneously to address customer needs.
  • Clearly explain policies and procedures during calls.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of all lines of business.
  • Demonstrate technical proficiency to perform tasks efficiently.
  • Communicate information confidently and clearly.
  • Contribute to our collective goal of excellence in healthcare delivery.
  • Anticipated call volume can be anywhere between 70-100 calls (primarily inbound).

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 – 3 years customer service experience preferably in a Benefits, Insurance, Healthcare, or related setting. 
  • Proven experience working remotely. 
  • Minimum of 2 years of consistent work experience in a related role. Demonstrated tenure and reliability in previous positions is required.
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • **Applicants must have access to an ethernet plug in as Wi-Fi will not work. Must have a working phone number for secondary system verifications. 

Details: 

  • 100% remote - equipment is provided. 
  • Pay: $18.50/hr. based on related experience
  • Pay cycle – weekly | medical, dental & vision benefits offered
  • Schedule (40 hours per week): Monday – Saturday | 8-hour shift within the hours of operation (9:30am – 8pm EST)
  • 1 Saturday shift is required per month. (would have a weekday off when working a Saturday)
