Job Title: Land Development Engineer
Job Description

We are currently seeking a Project Civil Engineer/Project Manager to lead multi-discipline designs for public and private site development projects. This role involves handling projects from conceptual planning through to construction documentation, permitting, and engineering reports.


Responsibilities
  • Prepare civil/site engineering designs and plans for jurisdictional approval and permitting.
  • Collaborate with designers and other Project Managers to complete projects efficiently.
  • Complete tasks and assignments as directed by Project Managers within the set time frames and budgets.
  • Develop engineering solutions in accordance with client design standards.
  • Document solutions in an organized manner and communicate them accurately to the team.
  • Ensure project development aligns with budget constraints and meets design criteria.
  • Assure work is reviewed by competent personnel and meets client requirements through a QA/QC process.
  • Attend client meetings to provide updates on project status.
  • Mentor less experienced staff.
Essential Skills
  • Civil engineering expertise in land development.
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and site development design.
  • Stormwater design and grading skills.
  • Project management experience with a minimum of 4 years.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or similar.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License.
  • 8 to 12 years of related experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in water resources engineering and stormwater management design and permitting.
  • Ability to manage and lead less experienced staff.
  • Focus on building client relationships.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
