Land Development Engineer

We are currently seeking a Project Civil Engineer/Project Manager to lead multi-discipline designs for public and private site development projects. This role involves all aspects of projects from conceptual planning to detailed design and construction documentation.

• Prepare civil/site engineering designs and plans for jurisdictional approval and permitting.
• Collaborate with designers and other Project Managers to complete projects effectively.
• Complete tasks and assignments within the time frames and budgets set for each project.
• Develop engineering solutions using design standards and document these solutions accurately.
• Ensure project development aligns with budget constraints and design criteria.
• Conduct QA/QC processes to meet client requirements before project delivery.
• Attend meetings with clients to provide project status updates.
• Mentor less experienced staff to enhance their development.

• Civil engineering expertise in land development.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Experience in stormwater design, grading, and site development.
• Strong project management skills with at least 4 years of experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or similar.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License.
• 8 to 12 years of related experience.

• Experience in water resources engineering and stormwater management design.
• Desire and ability to manage and lead less experienced staff.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Focus on building client relationships.

This position offers a hybrid schedule, with work in and out of the local office in Raleigh, near PNC Arena. This is a Permanent position based out of Raleigh, NC.

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
