CAD Designer

Overview

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and technically proficient CAD Design Engineer to support capital projects at a leading pharmaceutical facility. This hybrid role blends hands-on AutoCAD drafting with project coordination and cross-functional collaboration, offering a dynamic opportunity to contribute to high-impact engineering initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, revise, and maintain precise AutoCAD drawings for capital projects across the site.
• Ensure all drawings meet established standards and are properly documented.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure technical accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Lead and coordinate drawing packages, timelines, and deliverables.
• Serve as the go-to resource for engineering documentation and drawing logistics.
• Act as a liaison between engineering, operations, maintenance, and external vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Participate in project meetings and provide updates on drawing and project status.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of technical drawings across electrical, mechanical, piping, architectural, and utility systems.
• Solid background in project coordination or engineering support, with exposure to project management principles.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in CAD drafting, project coordination, or project management.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or industrial engineering settings.
• Familiarity with capital project workflows, documentation control, and lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of GMP, FDA, or other regulatory standards is a plus.
