We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team on a 12-hour night shift. The ideal candidate will maintain all equipment at full operating capacity while adhering to safety and facility work rules.
Responsibilities- Maintain all equipment in full operating capacity.
- Keep soap percentages at the appropriate adjustments.
- Practice safe work habits and report unsafe conditions or actions to the department supervisor or manager.
- Calibrate production scales and process instruments as needed.
- Read and understand maintenance instructions, manuals, electrical prints, and mechanical drawings.
- Adhere to Safety and Facility Work Rules.
- Ensure tools are accounted for, in good condition, and clean.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Perform work correctly and efficiently as assigned.
- Maintain equipment per CMMS and ensure work information is accurate in CMMS, notifying manager of any corrections or additions.
- Properly book spare part inventory items.
- Lift and manage a weight of 75 lbs/35 kgs as required.

- Repair and service of hydraulics and pneumatics

- 3 phase electrical troubleshooting
- Mechanical repair
- PLC troubleshooting
- Industrial electrical troubleshooting
- Ability to perform basic math such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
- Ability to speak, read, and write coherently.
- High school degree or G.E.D. required.
- High concentration and troubleshooting abilities.
- Experience in environments with dust, fumes, chemicals, high noise levels, cold, and heat.
- Ability to visually identify color differences for troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Three years of maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
- Knowledgeable about electrical control systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC equipment, rubber industry production equipment, and internal combustion engines.
- Familiarity with general industrial construction practices.
- Knowledgeable about welding, pipe fitting, conduit bending, and sheet metal fabrication.
- Ability to resolve conflict in a professional manner.

Work EnvironmentThe position requires working night shifts with A Shift on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday from 6:30PM-7AM and every other Saturday 6:30PM-7AM, and C Shift on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 6:30PM-7AM and every other Sunday 6:30PM-7AM. The environment is tough and not climate controlled, with exposure to dust, fumes, and high noise levels. The team works well together, but employees must also be comfortable working independently.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $42.00/hr.
