Job Description

This position is available due to an increase in customer demand, aiming to enhance our reputation for quality work. We are seeking an Interior Technician with a robust experience in corporate aircraft, boasting 2-5 years of experience working on aircraft or luxury yachts.

Responsibilities

• Install carpeting, insulation, soundproofing, and fabric accessories.
• Replace or repair parts, and perform basic electrical system installation, modifications, refurbishments, and general mechanical applications on aircraft interiors.
• Conduct minor modifications on panels, seats, carpets, cabinetry, and upholstery.
• Assist in aircraft detailing and cleaning.
• Maintain and repair shop facilities, equipment, and tooling.
• Utilize basic computer skills to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases.
• Ensure cleanliness of the shop and surrounding areas.
• Communicate effectively and clearly.
• Perform any other job-related duties assigned by supervisors or management.

Essential Skills

• Experience with aircraft interior finishing and maintenance.
• Proficiency in installation and modifications using hand and power tools.
• Capability to perform minor modifications on panels, seats, carpets, cabinetry, and upholstery.
• Basic computer literacy for accessing electronic resources.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must own personal tools.
• Ability to work outside on the ramp occasionally.
• Experience with electrical power tools, sheet metal cutters, glue guns, and metal benders.

Work Environment

Work in a large MRO facility as part of a large team, on either a 4/10 schedule Monday to Thursday for the 2nd shift or a Monday to Friday first shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The role may require working outdoors on the ramp on occasion

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Statesville, NC.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
