Job Title: Technician 2
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Technician 2 to perform basic diagnostics and equipment repairs with a focus on returning equipment to service efficiently and safely. This role involves working on a variety of equipment to minimize downtime, utilizing your technical expertise to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic diagnostics and equipment repairs safely and effectively.
- Return equipment to service to minimize downtime.
- Conduct repairs on refrigeration, electrical engines, and controllers.
- Work with dehumidification equipment, generators, power distribution, A/C, heaters, and shoring.
- Understand and repair diesel equipment, generators, and air compressors.
- Read and interpret electric schematics and hydraulic flow diagrams.
- Engage in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting for Pump & Power equipment.
Essential Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in repairing and maintaining Pump & Power equipment.
- Basic understanding of refrigeration, electrical engines, and controllers.
- Knowledge of generators, power distribution, A/C, heaters, and shoring.
- Ability to read electric schematics and hydraulic flow diagrams.
- EPA Section 608 Universal Certification is required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with changing out starters, radiators, and checking in pumps (SMURF).

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wake Forest, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
