Job Title: Traveling Field Service Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong hand dexterity, an eye for quality, and a keen attention to detail. You will work independently to ensure the effective installation and manufacture of Oil Containment Liner Systems, adhering to all health and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Read and understand project drawings to supervise and perform the installation of Oil Containment Liners and accessories.
- Utilize hand and power tools, including hammers, tape measures, utility knives, framing squares, hand rollers, heat guns, and edging tools.
- Work with various materials such as vinyl, foam, aluminum, steel, and polymer.
- Conduct inspections and perform repairs as necessary.
- Communicate project progress, site conditions, and equipment issues to the Site Services Coordinator.
- Ensure compliance with documented installation guidelines.
- Submit timesheets, expenses, and additional site installation reports in a timely manner.
Essential Skills
- Experience in electrical, mechanical, troubleshooting, assembly, service, and use of hand tools.
- Background in construction, with experience in flat roofing liner installation or HVAC.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.
- Thorough knowledge of commercial construction techniques, including plumbing.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.

- Ability to travel and stay overnight, away from home, 100% of the time.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wilkesboro, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
