Shop Technician

Diesel Mechanic – $23–$30/hr + OT (Contract‑to‑Hire)

Location: Moorhead, MN | Day Shift (Mon–Fri, 8 AM–5 PM)

Job Description

Join a solid, long-standing shop doing truck upfitting and mechanical installs. You’ll work hands-on installing pre‑fab equipment onto trucks — plows, service bodies, dump beds, toolboxes, hydraulic lines, wiring, and more. If you’re mechanically inclined and like problem‑solving with your hands, this is a great fit.

What You’ll Do

• Install truck attachments using hand and power tools
• Read and follow blueprints/prints
• Install wire harnesses, lighting, hydraulic hoses, and final assemblies
• Perform light fabrication and welding as you grow into the role
• Prep and apply paint for touch-ups and components

What You Need

• Strong mechanical aptitude (assembly/install experience preferred)
• Ability to read blueprints
• Basic fabrication + electrical skills
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and stay on your feet all day
• Personal tools preferred

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fargo, ND.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
