Maintenance Technician - 70k Annually

Job Title: Maintenance Technician $26-$37/hr. Apply Now!!!

Location: Fremont, NE.

Shift: 2nd shift - 2pm-10:30pm (Monday to Friday)

3rd shift - 6pm-6:30am with a 2,2,3 schedule.

Job Description

• Monitor production areas to ensure proper functioning of assigned equipment and intervene for repairs as necessary.
• Utilize hand and power tools to diagnose, adjust, maintain, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment..
• Assist with installation of new equipment or modify existing equipment as required.
• Make suggestions for corrective measures when downtime results from mechanical or technical defects.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Minimum of 6 months industrial maintenance experience.
• Comfortable and experienced with hand and power tools of all varieties.
• Ability to accurately use and read a tape measure and industrial blueprints.
• Basic knowledge and safety understanding of electrical components.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, and calculating percentages.
• Ability to operate a forklift, scissors lift, or any other powered equipment or machinery as needed.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to consistently practice and enforce safe working habits.

Work Environment

Work in a brand new chicken processing facility that is highly automated, processing 1 million chickens in a 24-hour cycle. The facility is owned by a reputable company and offers excellent working conditions. Enjoy working on the The environment is refrigerated, ranging from 45-50 degrees Fahrenheit, and requires wearing appropriate PPE as designated by company policy.

This is a Permanent position based out of Fremont, NE.

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
