ROBOT WELDING MACHINE OPERATOR --1st and 2nd shift -- Start ASAP -- Weekly Pay
The purpose of a Robot Welding Operator is to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all robotically automated welding cells. These team members will be responsible for set-up, operation and troubleshooting of all automated cells. This is a climate controlled facility.
Job Description:
Set-up of new jobs on all cells
Efficient production operation with ability to meet proven job rates.
Troubleshooting of faults experienced during automated production.
Part inspections
Non-conforming part quarantine and labeling
Accurate job progress data recording (both handwritten as well as through ERP system)
Recognize defects in welds
Spot check welds
Stop if parts are created wrong
Opportunity to learn hand welding if they show promise and want to learn those skills
Skills
Experience in the metals industry (welding, robotic welding, press brake, fabrication, plasma cutting experience is applicable)
Experience with blueprints
Experience with hand and power tools
Proven tenure in previous positions
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lincoln, NE.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
