Journeyman Electrician – Ellendale, ND (Travel + Per Diem)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6AM–6PM (12‑hour days)

Pay: $56.65/hr

Per Diem:

• $115/day if providing own lodging
• $50/day if we provides housing
• Must work a minimum of 6 hours to receive per diem
• After 30 days: 12 hours paid at straight time each day

About the Project

This is a multi‑year data center project located in Ellendale, ND. Work is primarily focused on large‑scale power distribution and critical electrical infrastructure. Most work will take place under roof, but candidates must be comfortable with North Dakota winter conditions.

Required Licensing

Must hold a Journeyman or Master Electrician license from a state eligible for North Dakota reciprocity:

MN, SD, IA, AK, CO, ID, ME, MT, NE, NH, UT, WY

(You must cover the $50 reciprocity application fee.)

Responsibilities

• Install and support large‑scale power distribution systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
• Run and bend conduit (EMT)
• Pull wire, install lighting, switches, panels, and terminations
• Troubleshoot electrical systems
• Perform industrial/commercial electrical installation and repair
• Work with low and medium voltage systems

Ideal Candidate Has:

• Conduit bending & installation
• Electrical wiring and cable installation
• Blueprint and schematic reading
• Panel terminations & switchgear installation
• Commercial/industrial electrical experience
• Power distribution experience preferred
• Data center experience is a strong plus
• Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license (reciprocity‑eligible state)
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work 12‑hour shifts, Monday–Friday
• Experience in commercial or industrial electrical environments

Work Environment

• On‑site at Ellendale, ND data center
• Most work performed under roof
• Exposure to North Dakota winter conditions

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.

The pay range for this position is $56.65 - $56.65/hr.
