Job Title: Forklift Operator
Job Description
The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for loading and unloading trailers, supporting production processes, verifying outbound and inbound shipments, and assisting with inventory management activities.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload outbound and inbound trailers, preparing proper documentation.
- Support production activities by staging production materials, removing finished products from the production floor, and reconciling product pull sheets with production.
- Ensure accurate inbound and outbound shipments by performing accurate product counts, freight damage assessments, QA check-in inspections, and discrepancy reporting.
- Manage upkeep and cleanliness of the warehouse.
- Stock shelves.
- Assist with daily inbound and outbound UPS/FedEx shipments.
- Perform daily equipment checks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- One year experience in warehouse/manufacturing
- Ability to certify and operate a forklift and other equipment needed to move material
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to work with hay and hay-based products
- Ability to lift 65 pounds, stoop, kneel, twist, bend, and stand for extended periods
- Ability to work in extreme heat and/or cold conditions as weather dictates
- Flexible schedule with some weekend hours
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English

Work Environment
Work in an environment where you will handle hay or grass products, ensuring no grass allergies. The warehouse operates on a flexible schedule with first shift hours from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and second shift hours from 3:30 pm to 11:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Another schedule includes first shift from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm and second shift from 4:00 pm to 2:00 am, Monday through Thursday.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.54 - $19.54/hr.
