Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented General Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of products placed in coolers and maintaining adherence to safety policies.
Responsibilities
- Place products in coolers and affix labels to containers, ensuring correct items are properly packed.
- Maintain company safety policies and follow them at all times.
- Visually inspect products, coolers, packaging, and dry ice for cleanliness and defects.
- Follow procedures to reduce or eliminate product damage.
- Lift dry ice from bins to scale, verify weights, and place in proper size coolers.
- Reject defective dry ice based on weight, specifications, and packaging.
- Distinguish between different package ship modes and affix appropriate labels.
- Perform quality control inspections of coolers to ensure orders are correct and properly presented.
- Correct packing errors by obtaining and placing the proper product or premium in the cooler and recording the error.
- Inspect coolers at a rate of 75 coolers per hour.
- Meet expectations for attendance and punctuality.
Essential Skills
- Experience in packing, production, picking, packaging, RF scanning, loading, unloading, assembly, labeling, and fulfillment.
- At least 6 months of experience as a General Warehouse Worker.
- Skills in inventory, general labor, order picking, and warehouse inventory management.
- Proficiency in operating a pallet jack and warehouse packing.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Capability to understand and follow directions accurately.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Omaha, NE.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
