Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician for our 1st shift, from 8 AM to 5 PM. The role requires adherence to all Plant and Safety Rules, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and the consistent wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). You will be responsible for the general maintenance and repair of buildings, facilities, and equipment, with a focus on troubleshooting hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tasks including electrical, plumbing, and painting.
• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment, compressors, boilers, and ancillary equipment.
• Collaborate with other maintenance and production employees to solve problems.
• Research, select, and order necessary parts and supplies.
• Demonstrate flexibility to work varying shifts, weekends, and handle emergency situations.
• Execute all other tasks as deemed appropriate by supervisors.
• Possess general knowledge and troubleshooting skills for belts, drives, sheaves, chains, and general power transmission systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to stand, walk, and kneel on hard surfaces regularly.
• Capability to use hands/fingers to handle equipment.
• Effective communication skills with personnel on the production floor.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of safety practices within the maintenance field.

Work Environment

You will work in a dynamic manufacturing setting, adhering to safety protocols and utilizing state-of-the-art equipment. The role requires flexibility in shift timings and readiness for emergency situations. The dress code mandates the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.

This is a Permanent position based out of Omaha, NE.

The pay range for this position is $48000.00 - $62000.00/yr.
