Job Title: Systems Test Engineer
Job Description
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being at the intersection of engineering and quality assurance. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed test plans, test procedures, and verification documentation to support the development of precision electronics and sensor systems. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with senior engineers and gain exposure to embedded systems and full product lifecycle development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test procedures, and test reports.
- Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and verification results.
- Support design verification activities with clear, auditable documentation.
- Build and operate test setups for PCB and system-level testing.
- Execute manual and automated tests, record results, and troubleshoot issues.
- Assist in the transition from prototype to production, including validation and verification.
- Collaborate with design engineers to ensure testability and manufacturability.
- Work closely with senior engineers to deepen your understanding of analog and embedded systems.
- Participate in local testing and be open to occasional international travel.
Essential Skills
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience preferred; strong entry-level candidates with a passion for documentation and testing will be considered.
- Proficiency in test plan development, electrical engineering, and test engineering.
- Experience with test equipment, validation, and troubleshooting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for documentation.
- Familiarity with electronics testing, PCB development, and lab equipment.
- Interest in embedded systems and analog electronics.
