Job Title: Quality Inspector

Job Description

The Final Quality Inspector’s primary responsibility is to inspect printed circuit boards at the end of the manufacturing process. Their objective is to ensure that PCBs meet the required quality standards, are free from defects, and are ready to proceed to the next production stage. The Inspector will utilize various inspection techniques and equipment to identify and document any issues or non-conformities, contributing to the overall quality control efforts of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect boards per customer documentation at pretest and pre-shipment steps.
  • Perform first piece inspections on thru-hole insertion and thru-hole solder.
  • Ensure correct counts at various process steps and correctly fill out all necessary paperwork.
  • Log quality issues (rejects) into the Manufacturing Execution System (MES).

Essential Skills

  • Experience with PCBA and PCB inspection.
  • Proficiency in using micrometers and calipers.
  • Visual inspection skills.
  • Minimum of 2 years of PCBA experience preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Understanding of schematic drawings.
  • Knowledge of SMT components preferred.
  • Mechanical knowledge preferred.
  • Familiarity with BOM/Part Lists and quality control procedures.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
