Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable pharmacist to join our team. This role involves reviewing prescriptions for accuracy and legality, dispensing medications, and providing healthcare advice on over-the-counter drugs and general wellness. The pharmacist will also manage inventory to ensure the availability of necessary drugs and collaborate with physicians to optimize patient treatment plans. Educating patients on medication safety and potential risks is a key aspect of this position.

Responsibilities

Essential Skills

• Pharmacy knowledge
• PharmD degree
• Retail pharmacy experience
• Data entry proficiency

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail experience
• NJ PharmD
• Experience with Prime Rx preferred

Work Environment

The work environment is primarily within a retail pharmacy setting, where attention to detail and customer interaction are essential. Pharmacists must be comfortable with data entry and using pharmacy software. This role requires a professional attire suitable for patient-facing positions.
