Job Title: Package Operator II

Shift Schedule

  • 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Monday–Friday
  • Occasional Saturday shifts (typically 1–2 per month) based on production needs

Overview

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Package Operator II to join our pharmaceutical manufacturing team. In this role, you will inspect, label, and package finished drug products in a controlled, sterile production environment. You’ll be trained on new equipment, follow established SOPs, and help ensure every product meets the highest quality and safety standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect filled bottles to verify proper fill levels and compliance with quality standards
  • Package, label, and prepare finished drug products for final distribution
  • Learn and operate a variety of packaging, labeling, and filling equipment
  • Read and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and complete required assessments
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant workspace in a fast‑paced production setting

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Experience working in pharmaceutical manufacturing or a GMP‑regulated environment
  • Understanding of production line operations (filling, labeling, packaging)
  • Strong attention to detail for continuous inspection and documentation
  • Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment with strict gowning protocols

Additional Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Entry‑level candidates are welcome — full training provided
  • Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn
  • Prior filling or packaging experience in a GMP environment is beneficial

Work Environment

This role requires working in a sterile, controlled production area. Team members must wear lab coats, hair nets, shoe covers, and scrubs, and will gown up in designated locker rooms before entering the cleanroom.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cherry Hill, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
