Job Title: Accounts Payable Supervisor
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable (AP) Supervisor to support our AP team during a Workday implementation. This role will split time between contributing to the Workday project and serving as the backup AP Supervisor to ensure daily operations continue smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in Workday design, testing, and deployment activities specific to Accounts Payable.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on prior Workday implementation experience.
- Assist with process redesign and system optimization.
- Support data preparation and cleanup, including vendor master data, ahead of the transition.
- Serve as the backup AP Supervisor while permanent staff focus on the implementation.
- Lead and support a team of AP analysts, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to processes.
- Monitor workflow, assign tasks, and ensure completion of daily AP activities.
- Perform reconciliations and review reports from PeopleSoft and Excel.
- Step in to process invoices when needed.
Essential Skills:
- Proven experience as an AP Supervisor/Manager (not a first-time supervisor).
- Hands-on Workday AP experience; daily system usage required.
- Workday implementation experience required.
- Experience transitioning from PeopleSoft to Workday is a plus.
- Strong understanding of AP processes, controls, and best practices.
- Ability to lead, coach, and support a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Comfortable rolling up sleeves and assisting with transactional work when necessary.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Accounts payable, invoice processing, reconciliation, way match, month end.
- AP management and leadership experience.
- Experience in creating and pulling reports.
Work Environment:
The work environment includes an American network of healthcare providers in New Jersey, featuring academic centers, acute care facilities, and research hospitals. The position offers a 12-18+ month assignment, providing a structured and professional setting to enhance your skills and experience.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
