Description
Job Title: Customer Service Representative (CSR2) – Call Center
Location: Remote (Must reside in New Jersey)
Pay Rate: $17.00 - $19.00/hour (19 for Bilingual English/Spanish)
Start Date: October
Training: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM EST (3 weeks)
Work Schedule: Mon - Fri 8am-5pm
- Open Enrollment (Nov 1 – Jan 31):
- Mon–Fri: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM EST
- Sat: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
- Last 2 Sundays of OE: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
- Last 3 days of OE: 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM EST
- One week post-OE: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM EST
- Non-OE Period: Mon–Fri: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
Job Overview:
As a Customer Service Representative, you will support individuals and families applying for healthcare coverage through the Marketplace. Responsibilities include handling inbound calls, processing applications, updating records, and providing accurate information in a professional and empathetic manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and manage inbound calls from consumers
- Assist with healthcare applications and eligibility determinations
- Process updates, life events, and enrollment changes
- Document interactions and escalate issues as needed
- Provide translation services and support non-English speakers
- Attend training and maintain program knowledge
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED (Associate degree preferred)
- Minimum 6 months of customer service or call center experience
- Strong communication and data entry skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Must have compatible BYOD setup with a second monitor (monitor can be provided if needed)
Equipment: Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) per provided specs plus camera
Personal Computer: Windows 10 or Higher

PC Memory: 8GB Ram or Higher
PC Hard drive: 256GB or higher
Internet: Wired network
Headset: USB Gen 2 wired with connected mic (no Bluetooth)
