Job Title: Compounder

We are seeking a skilled Compounder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling and weighing various raw materials, utilizing specialized equipment, and performing sanitation duties. This role is vital in producing high-quality flavor emulsions for the food and beverage industry.

• Handle and weigh various types of liquid and solid raw materials, including chemicals and essential oils.
• Utilize and maintain two-stage homogenizers and shearmills to produce flavor emulsions.
• Blend and mix ingredients for intermediate use and finished products.
• Perform sanitation duties, including Clean-In-Place (CIP) and Clean-Out-of-Place (COP).
• Complete other related duties as assigned by the manager in the lab.

• 2-3 years of experience compounding liquids in the food and beverage industry.
• 2-3 years of experience with homogenizers.
• 2-3 years of experience in emulsification.

• Experience in the food and beverage industry.

The work environment requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety goggles. The company expects substantial growth, with a projection of 30% growth next year.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Avenel, New Jersey.
