Machine Operator

Position Summary

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production equipment in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This role ensures safe, efficient, and accurate machine performance while supporting overall production goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production and manufacturing machines
• Perform machine setups, changeovers, and adjustments to support scheduled operations
• Load materials and verify proper calibration, labeling accuracy, and equipment readiness
• Monitor machine performance and complete visual and dimensional inspections using comparators, calipers, micrometers, or other handheld tools
• Maintain documentation such as production logs, downtime reports, and quality check records
• Identify and communicate mechanical or quality-related issues to supervisors and team members promptly
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and company safety policies at all times
• Assist in basic preventative maintenance, cleaning, and upkeep of assigned machinery
• Support a fast‑paced, team‑oriented production environment and adapt to multiple shifts when needed

Qualifications

• Prior experience operating production or manufacturing experience.
• Basic math skills and English communication abilities.
• Willingness to learn, follow detailed instructions, and work collaboratively in a structured environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Mahwah, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Mahwah,NJ.
