Join our team as a Lead Electro-Mechanical Assembly professional where you will be responsible for building and wiring industrial UL-508A control panels, assembling electro-mechanical and pneumatic systems, interpreting electrical schematics and mechanical drawings, troubleshooting, and supporting equipment testing and startup. You will also have the opportunity to lead and mentor a small team of assemblers, ensuring high-quality workmanship and documentation.
Responsibilities- Build and wire industrial UL-508A control panels.
- Assemble electro-mechanical and pneumatic systems.
- Interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Troubleshoot and support equipment testing and startup.
- Lead and mentor a small team of assemblers.
- Ensure high-quality workmanship and documentation.
- 5+ years of control panel and machinery assembly experience.
- Strong understanding of NEC / NFPA-79 standards.
- Skilled with PLC/HMI components, VFDs, sensors, and relays.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and a strong communicator.
- Ability to manage priorities in a custom build environment.
- Technical degree or trade school training preferred.
- Experience with UL-508A, OSHA 10, or industrial safety training.
- Experience with industrial water systems is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Work EnvironmentThe role is set in a fast-paced manufacturing and assembly environment. It involves exposure to electrical components, machinery, and variable temperatures, requiring standing, bending, lifting, and the use of hand tools throughout the day.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Middlesex, NJ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
