Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with 8–10 years of environmental remediation experience to join our team immediately. This role is critical for managing ongoing projects at sites impacted by PCE contamination. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in managing technical projects, overseeing field crews, and delivering high-quality remediation outcomes without the need for heavy client-facing or business development responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage remediation projects at dry cleaner sites with PCE contamination.
• Oversee groundwater and soil remediation activities, including soil vapor extraction systems.
• Manage shallow and deep monitoring wells, ensuring accurate sampling and quarterly monitoring.
• Utilize ArcGIS and Surfer software for 2D/3D modeling of contamination plumes and remediation progress.
• Supervise and coordinate in-house field crews, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance.
• Prioritize tasks independently and maintain accountability for project deliverables.
• Ensure adherence to environmental regulations and site-specific requirements.

Essential Skills

• 8–10 years of environmental remediation experience.
• Experience with groundwater monitoring and monitoring wells.
• Proficiency in using ArcGIS and Surfer software.
• Strong project management skills.
• Background in environmental science and environmental remediation.
• Licensed state remediation professional (LSRP).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience supervising field crews in environmental remediation projects.
• Familiarity with quarterly monitoring and reporting requirements.
• Strong technical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• OSHA 40 Hazwhopper certification.

Work Environment

This position requires working on-site for 5 days a week with flexible hours. The work environment involves using advanced technologies and equipment to ensure the highest standards of environmental remediation.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Montclair, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.07 - $62.50/hr.
