Job Description

We are seeking an Environmental Reviewer to lead technical reviews and sign off on Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs). The ideal candidate possesses over 10 years of experience, strong communication skills, and experience in geology, environmental science, or engineering. This individual must be detail-oriented, experienced with equity and lender ESAs, and capable of mentoring staff.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct technical reviews and sign off as an Environmental Professional (EP) on Phase I ESAs.
  • Coordinate with junior staff during the Phase I ESA process.
  • Communicate findings to clients effectively.
  • Manage research, field activities, and report preparation.
  • Mentor and guide junior staff.
  • Develop conclusions and recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Interpret data and information accurately.
  • Review and revise reports prepared by junior staff.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical reports for clients.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in geology, environmental science, engineering, or a related science field.
  • 8-10 years of experience performing Phase I ESAs.
  • 8-10 years or more of experience in technically reviewing and providing sign-off on Phase I ESAs.
  • Experience preparing equity purchase Phase I ESAs.
  • Experience preparing Lender Phase I ESAs.
  • Proficiency in environmental remediation, report writing, and report preparation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to mentor and lead junior staff.
  • Attention to detail.

This role offers flexibility with a hybrid work option if local to Moorestown, NJ, or fully remote with 5-10% travel.
