Job Description
As a Construction Manager, you will oversee all phases of commercial construction projects, ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and regulatory standards. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and resource plans, while coordinating with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of public construction projects, ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and regulatory standards.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors for timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Utilize Procore to manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Oversee quality control and enforce safety standards on-site.
- Handle risk management and resolve issues promptly to keep projects on track.
Essential Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with a General Contractor.
- Strong understanding of public project compliance, codes, and regulations.
- Proficiency in Procore for project management tasks such as RFIs and change orders.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with ground-up institutional construction.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with multi-million-dollar projects.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management training.
- Familiarity with scheduling software such as MS Project or Primavera.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newark, NJ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $135000.00/yr.
