Fire Alarm Installation Technician

Key Qualifications:

• Installation Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience installing both conventional and addressable fire alarm systems.
• Commercial Wiring Expertise: Demonstrated ability to perform wiring tasks in commercial environments.
• Wiring Knowledge: Familiarity with wire types including 18-2, 16-2, and 16-4.
• Tool Proficiency: Skilled in using drills, hammers, hand tools, and multi-meters.
• Physical Requirements: Capable of performing physically demanding tasks such as drilling, mounting electrical boxes, and running wire efficiently.

Position Summary:

We are hiring experienced Fire Alarm Technicians to support new construction projects, primarily focused on large condominium and apartment complexes. This role involves rough-in wiring, box mounting, and wire installation.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Complete wiring for approximately 10 residential units per day.
• Use personal vehicle for commuting; travel time may be up to 1 hour.

Contract Details:

• Type: 6-month contract-to-hire.
• Conversion Benefits: Upon full-time hire, technicians will receive a company vehicle, gas card, and EZ Pass.

Additional Information:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Optional weekend work available for overtime.
• Work Environment: Active construction sites including commercial buildings and multi-unit residential complexes.
