EMBEDDED SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Job Description

We are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to design and implement embedded software in C for a Linux-based application. The role involves remote work on a Linux server and integration on a Linux single-board computer in the lab. You will collaborate with a team of five, including experienced developers, to handle the most technically complex component of the system, following provided scope and requirements to deliver high-quality, maintainable code.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement embedded software in C for a Linux-based application.
• Work remotely on a Linux server and perform integration on a Linux single-board computer in the lab.
• Collaborate effectively with a team of five developers.
• Handle the most technically complex component of the system.
• Follow provided scope and requirements to deliver high-quality, maintainable code.

Essential Skills

• Strong experience in C programming, particularly in embedded systems.
• Hands-on experience with embedded Linux development.
• Familiarity with development on single-board computers such as Raspberry Pi.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• US citizenship is required due to program constraints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working in aerospace and defense sectors is a plus.
• Understanding of space-grade valve technologies and applications.
