Position Summary

As a Senior Project Manager of Agile Delivery within the Center of Excellence, you will play a critical role in leading the successful execution of cloud-based, SaaS product development projects through agile methodologies. This role requires a strategic and technically proficient leader with a strong background in engineering project management, Agile/Scrum practices, and deep knowledge of cloud-native software development. You will empower cross-functional teams, drive innovation, manage dependencies, and ensure project goals are closely aligned with organizational strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership in implementing and continuously improving agile methodologies across teams.
  • Lead, mentor, and guide cross-functional product development teams while promoting Agile values and principles.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and deliverables across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Oversee project lifecycle activities including scope, requirements, timelines, risk, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders (Product Owners, Business Leaders, Architects) to define project goals, success criteria, and timelines.
  • Establish and maintain open communication channels to keep stakeholders informed, aligned, and engaged.
  • Coordinate technical resources, including Architects, Developers, QA Testers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners.
  • Serve as Scrum Master or Business Analyst for agile product teams, as needed.
  • Foster a culture of self-organization, accountability, and innovation within project teams.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks using proactive management techniques.
  • Ensure consistent adherence to quality standards and best practices in agile software development.
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and project health metrics to support transparency and continuous improvement.
  • Support process documentation and engineering governance practices to ensure consistency across projects.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in IT, Engineering, or Business.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, product development, or related roles, with a strong focus on agile delivery and engineering project management.
  • Proven experience in SaaS-based product development and cloud-native project environments.
  • Experience in process design, organizational transformation, or governance roles is highly preferred.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or PMP is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) with a history of successful project delivery.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.
  • Advanced problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills in technical project settings.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar project/engineering management platforms.
  • Experience with process documentation and Agile delivery metrics (burn-down charts, velocity, lead/cycle time).
  • Strong technical foundation in:
    • Cloud Computing Principles (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
    • Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
    • Microservices and Serverless Architecture
    • Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
    • DevOps, CI/CD pipelines
    • Cloud Security Best Practices
Working Conditions & Physical Demands
  • Fast-paced, collaborative, and deadline-driven work environment.
  • Occasional travel may be required for team workshops or stakeholder meetings.
  • Mental demands include strategic planning, multitasking, and complex decision-making.
  • Physical demands are consistent with a standard office setting.
