Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional land surveyor to oversee our new surveying department in Parsippany, NJ. This role offers the opportunity to coordinate with our survey team in the NY office and manage a team effectively. Candidates should either hold a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license or be willing to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operations of the new surveying department in Parsippany, NJ.
• Coordinate and collaborate with the survey team located in the NY office.
• Manage and lead a team, demonstrating experience or willingness to do so.

Essential Skills

• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Experience with land surveying and proficiency in Civil 3D.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with PLS.
• Familiarity with managing surveying projects in a diverse project environment.

Work Environment

This position offers a hybrid work environment, with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote, allowing for flexibility to match personal needs. The company is a large engineering and architecture firm known for its work on diverse projects throughout the tri-state area. The interview process includes two rounds, with the first being virtual and the second on-site in Parsippany.
