Responsibilities
- Ensure that all kits are produced in a timely fashion in accordance with Good Manufacturing Procedures. Kits are to be produced as designated by supervisor.
- Ensure that all raw materials are available for production including chemicals, antigens, serums and plasmas.
- Ensure that all procedures are being carefully followed and accurately completed in accordance with FDA requirements. Make sure that all documents are being followed and are being kept up to date as necessary.
- Participate in cycle counts.
- Review kit data generated. Ensure that we are making a quality, consistent product.
- Assist Technical Services in troubleshooting any problems as needed. Facilitate sample testing and/or kit testing in response to customer complaints or requirements.
Essential Skills
- BS or AS degree in Biology
- Ability to read and follow written directions.
- Basic working knowledge of Biology, Microbiology, Immunology and aseptic technique.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations including the creation of dilutions.
- Good laboratory practices are necessary to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Ability to operate/maintain machines such as the automated plate washer, reader and pH meter.
- Computer skills, as needed.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Princeton, NJ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
