Job Title: Construction Laborer
Location: Prospect Park, NJ
Pay: $18-$23 an hour
Shift: 1st shift
Job Description
The Construction Laborer supports residential and commercial construction projects by assisting with demolition, site preparation, material handling, and cleanup. This role works alongside skilled trades performing concrete, masonry, framing, and general construction tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assist with general construction, renovation, and site preparation on residential and commercial projects
- Perform tasks including demolition, material handling, site cleanup, and debris removal
- Support skilled trades with concrete, masonry, framing, and basic carpentry work
- Operate hand and power tools such as hammers, drills, saws, grinders, and jackhammers (as trained)
- Load, unload, and transport tools, equipment, and construction materials
- Help set up and break down job sites
- Follow foreman instructions and maintain productivity standards
- Adhere to all OSHA and company safety guidelines
Essential Skills
- Prior construction labor experience preferred (entry‑level candidates considered)
- Familiarity with basic hand and power tools a plus
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and ability to follow direction
- Dependable, punctual, and team‑oriented

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Prospect Park, NJ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
