Job Description

We are seeking a skilled scale house assistant with experience with Microsoft office, computers, sending emails, and the use of weighing trucks with a computer system.. This role involves general labor tasks and requires proficiency in communication skills/ ability to complete tasks.

Responsibilities

• Verified that driver documentation matched the material coming in.
• Ensured accuracy of load information, including weight, material type, and ticket details.
• Weighed incoming and outgoing trucks and accurately entered all data into the computer system
• Organized and maintained all scale tickets and related documentation in an orderly manner.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in communication skills and use of computers
• Familiarity with the recycling and resale of aggregates is a plus.

Work Environment

The work environment involves operating within an 80-acre quarry in Prospect Park, NJ, that specializes in sorting and recycling demolition debris. The quarry is equipped with multiple quarry crusher machines. The role is supported by a dedicated team including admin staff, project managers, a sales representative, and an environmental engineer. Work is conducted in collaboration with multiple companies and the project is expected to continue until 2055.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Prospect Park, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
