Working in a dynamic, fast paced environment, the Executive Transportation Driver reports to, and is under the guidance of the Associate Director, Executive & Personnel Protection, Global Security. The Executive Transportation Specialist is an experienced professional responsible for the safe and secure daily transport of assigned Company executives which includes transport to and from their residences to Company sites; pick-up and drop-off at Company and private helipads; transport to and from Company, private and commercial airports and transport to and from off-site meeting locations in the tri-state area (New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York).

The Executive Transportation Specialist is an experienced professional responsible for the safe and secure daily transport of assigned Company executives which includes transport to and from their residences to Company sites; pick-up and drop-off at Company and private helipads; transport to and from Company, private and commercial airports and transport to and from off-site meeting locations in the tri-state area (New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York).
Responsibilities Include
- Reporting to, and under the guidance of the Associate Director of Executive and Personnel Protection/Workplace Violence, responsible for the safe and secure transport of assigned Company executives to and from their residences to Company sites; pick-up and drop off at Company and private helipads; to and from Company, private and commercial airports and transport to and from off-site meeting locations in the tri-state area
- Responsible for the safe and compliant operation of assigned executive vehicle, ensuring all required documentation such as insurance and registration for the assigned executive vehicle are current and available for review, if requested
- Demonstrates vigilance in the routine vehicle preventive maintenance, inspection, repair of the assigned executive vehicle. Report any operational or mechanical issues immediately to management for action. Maintain and evaluate safety equipment, and interior/exterior cleaning of the assigned executive vehicle, reporting any operational or mechanical issues immediately to management for action
- Assists executives with the loading and unloading of their baggage from vehicle
- Assists in the coordination and direct support of executive protection of senior leadership when requested
- Actively participates in the executive vehicle order process coordinated with Global Security, Wheels and Fleet Management, providing comments and suggestions regarding vehicle/options. Secures delivery of new vehicle and the return/removal of replaced vehicle
- Follows Company sanitizing, disinfecting and cleaning protocols for assigned executive vehicle related to viruses/illnesses, as specified
- Upholds strict confidentiality standards, safeguarding sensitive, propriety and confidential information; daily plans/itinerary/assignments and discussions from unauthorized disclosure
- Takes steps to ensure the protection of intellectual property and trade secret as well as the safeguarding of Company assets
- Works closely with executive assistants supporting Company executives from areas such as manufacturing, finance, research, technology and business strategy; and other business line personnel
- Works in close coordination with the Company's Aviation Services area concerning dispatching and daily transportation scheduling needs to include flight arrivals and departures for assigned Company executives, completing assignments in accordance with designated time schedules and procedures
- Must possess a keen security mindset and report unusual circumstances, incidents and perceived or direct threats immediately to Global Security management for action, coordinating with management proper steps to mitigate identified threats
- Drop off / Pick up packages at Company sites and/or off-site locations, as requested
- Ability to research and map out primary travel routes and alternative routes, prior to daily executive assignments. This includes adapting to ever changing environments - alternate driving route plans, maximizing expediency to avoid traffic disruptions and/or construction and in response to severe or inclement weather conditions
- Proactively works with Company intelligence team and Global Security Watch Desk; Associate Director, Executive and Personnel Protection/Workplace Violence; Director, Executive & Personnel Protection and Global Security Regional team in response to possible internal or external threats to executive(s)
- Timely and accurate submission of bi-weekly timecards for management approval
- Timely and accurate submission of travel and vehicle expense reports and quarterly reports for purposes of regulatory submission
- Timely completion of required Company on-line courses; completion of off-site security specialized training; and attendance at Global Security sponsored meetings and functions, as required
- Adheres to our Company's strict Code of Conduct
- Associate degree.
- Ten years prior law enforcement/military experience required.
- Ability to successfully obtain Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Armed Security Officer (ASO) certification.
- Completion of evasive, defensive driving training offered by an accredited security driving school preferred.
- Physical requirements - Must be able to lift heavy baggage, packages and materials; assist passengers in and out of vehicles and open doors.
- Must have valid driver license, as well as a Real ID or a valid passport for air travel.
- Minimal visual acuity specified by Company guidelines and desired certifications.
- Must successfully complete a thorough background check and drug screening.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays; and be prepared to sit/wait for extended periods of time as required.
- Anticipated domestic out of state air travel up to 10%.
- Ability to understand/utilize maps, GPS systems and car manuals.
- Effective communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Business casual attire is standard with flexibility to adapt to business professional as needed.
