Job Description
The Quality Inspector supervises a team of Incoming Quality Inspectors, ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures. This role involves resolving issues with packaging components and bulk products, initiating investigations into non-conformances, and maintaining daily performance KPIs to meet goals. The Quality Inspector also ensures the accuracy of Incoming Quality records and compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or other industry-specific regulations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the team of Incoming Quality Inspectors.
- Train personnel on Standard Operating Procedures.
- Resolve day-to-day issues with packaging components and bulk products.
- Initiate investigations into non-conformances and escalate to management as needed.
- Maintain daily performance KPIs and make adjustments to meet goals.
- Ensure Incoming Quality records are accurate and forwarded to Document Control promptly.
- Ensure all packaging and bulk meet required standards and GMP regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Proficient in quality inspection and assembly processes.
- Solid written and oral communication skills.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
- Safety, quality, and productivity-oriented in daily management.
- Advanced computer skills, proficient in office suite/Google equivalent applications such as Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Somerset, NJ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
