Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Spice Room Operator, where you will play a crucial role in our production process by handling, sorting, and measuring spices for specific batches. This position is located in our state-of-the-art production facility in Swedesboro, NJ Industrial Park, specializing in private label marinades and BBQ sauces.

Responsibilities

• Measure out spices for specific batches using an ingredient sheet.
• Dump and sort spices, typically in 50lb bags.
• Unload empty glass or plastic bottles onto the production line.
• Take finished products off the line and palletize them.

Skills

• Packing experience.
• Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly.
• Warehouse experience.
• Packaging experience.
• Palletizing skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• General labor and material handling experience.
• Experience in loading and unloading is beneficial.

Work Environment

Work in a clean, temp-controlled production facility from Monday to Thursday, 3 PM to 1:30 AM, with some Fridays required. The facility is located in the Industrial Park in Swedesboro, NJ, specializing in marinades, salad dressings, and BBQ sauces. Be prepared to stand for long periods and work in an environment exposed to various allergens such as milk, egg, mustard, peanuts, fish, sulfites, sesame, soy, tree nuts, and wheat.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Swedesboro, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $20.42 - $20.42/hr.
