Data Entry Clerk (Contract)

What You'll Do:

-The project is to create cost savings for customers by utilizing power at optimal times during the day

-Once the field sets up the meter on promise of the residence, the Associate will enter the customer information (customer account and information, name, address, meter numbers and specific meter reads into their internal system)

-A lot of the role is copying from physical paper, excel and client billing system and input that information directly into MV90 (their database)

-Should take about 10-15 minutes per customer ID

-Could verify orders from the teams have entered

-Quality control on data entry to ensure it all accurate in the system

What We're Looking For:

Must Haves:

-1 year of typing experience in a work setting as a data entry, administrative/reception related positions, or bank teller

-Someone who is focused on accuracy over speed in the role

-Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (i.e. need to be able to changing the color of the text in a cell or group of cells, adding/removing cell highlighting (aka fill color), inserting and deleting rows, save a spreadsheet from an email to a specified folder, hiding/unhiding columns, and move and/or copy a spreadsheet from one workbook to another)

-Ability to utilize 2+ databases at one time

-Someone who has dealt with quality control in a past role

-Typing and/or 10 key experience

Nice to Haves:

-Someone with previous utility experience

-Someone who has done something with payroll or another form of data analytics that is required to have a high level of accuracy

Work Environment:

-Monday-Friday 8 AM to 5 PM (or flexible)

-8:30-5:30 PM for training, after training there is flexibility (4 10''s)

-100% in office, no remote offering available for this role

-This is a 3 month contract with no offering for an FTE role behind this

-The reason the position is open is because they opened a new program and got back logged in the department (TEK currently has a contractor in this department now and this is a net add to the team)

-Business casual (dress jeans, professional top)

-HQ is down town, they are on the 11th floor

-There is free parking attached to the building

-Do A LOT of copy and past within the role - not a ton of data entry
